Verbal Communication with Second Language Toward Children Fear in Dental Care

چکیده

Good verbal communicating with children can use phrases or words - a substitute word that connotes not painful and terrible (second language), so the child receive dental treatment. This study to know effect of using second language toward fear in care. Samples are 4-6 years old pediatric patients who came clinic Listyo Rinawati on Johor Malaysia. Measurement care is scaled Venham's Clinical Ratings. The results showed intervention group 100% experience level changes according scale There 45% were initially reluctant change it relax. In without giving 35% had only reluctantly turned decreased by 25%. independent T-test sig. 0.00 0.05 which means there differences two groups different treatments. Verbal communication may help overcome before during treatment, treatment will be successful afraid make visit next
